Enviro Lac Gauvreau is the short form for the Gauvreau Lake Environmental Protection Association (GLEPA). Enviro Lac Gauvreau is an environmental association that monitors and encourages the maintenance of the ecological integrity of Lac Gauvreau in La Peche, Quebec.
Enviro Lac Gauvreau has been incorporated as a non-profit organization in the Province of Québec since 2002. As such, we are permitted to raise funds to be spent only to support the Mission of the Association. This means that every dollar of your membership goes directly to supporting lake health.
To support its mission, Enviro Lac Gauvreau:
Raises the awareness of Lac Gauvreau residents, as well as other local and regional parties, to the benefits of natural conservation and current issues concerning lake health. In doing so, many activities are planned on an annual basis, including at least one Annual General Meeting;
Cooperates with local and regional stakeholders in promoting the protection of our natural environment;
Manages revitalization projects with respect to the natural environment, including the "shoreline protection project."
